I don’t think this one needs a title really…

India Soon
So I decided I’m going to update you guys on my India trip when I get a chance to. I haven’t the slightest idea of how many times I will be able to update it but I figure you won’t care, and if you do thats terribly unfortunate. I could start a side blog, but that just makes things too complicated ( I don’t really know how to anyway).
I’ll tell you one good thing about Augustana, actually two. My english paper that has just been finished is a healthly bashing of liturgical art and my final project for christology will be about the film Jesus Camp and it’s depiction of Christ as a War Hawk. You both should see that movie by the way. I’m not sure I’d get away with criticism of Hanes commercials and Tremors 1,2, and 3 at UofB.
Side note: Miami might be the most unfortunate NBA team to emerge in years.
University of Bacon

[Kevin Bacon stares down head-sized glass]
I saw this site <oracleofbacon.org> in a blog post and thought it might be post-worthy here. So as to not disappoint, I should give you fair warning, though: this is not a source for all things fatty and delicious, but rather a searchable database for all things (read: celebrities) Kevin Bacon related. Are you still with me on this then? Good. You’ll also be pleased to know that this is apparently owned (at least in some way) by the University of Virginia. You’ve made an unwise decision to go to Augustana, D-Lo.
“A common practice in Poland”
There’s a lot of things I don’t know about Poland. For instance, I had no idea that, under the Jagiellon dynasty, Poland forged an alliance with its neighbour, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in 1410. I also didn’t know that it has the eighth-largest population in Europe and the sixth-largest in the European Union. At any rate, if should probably come as no surprise then that I wasn’t familiar with one of the “common practice[s]” of the Polish people: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2008/03/03/nhoover103.xml
John Denver’s “Country Roads” officially takes Thai doctor “home.”
Apparently some Thai doctor was killed this weekend for singing John Denver’s “Country Roads” one too many times at a kareoke party <http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2008/03/08/wbangkok108.xml>. This seems like fair punishment, but it leaves me wondering: what’s the penalty for something like “Pac-Man Fever” or “Muskrat Love”? More “Pac-Man Fever” and “Muskrat Love”?
So these papers are particularly bad today…
…and I just remembered this:

I’m guessing there’s at least one more proofreader position open
Potty Humor
Good idea, Bethy!
So anywho, I was browsing the ‘net today (that’s what we call it, by the way, Beth), and I came across this:

Now….hmmm….Well, ok, I’m just wondering what the hell this image means…Here’s my theory:
“These facilities accomodate the pooing of: (a) larged ass people, (b) people born with their hearts on the outside of their body, and (c) boners, people with boners. Any other thoughts? (though I seriously doubt that last one can be anything but boners)
